EDIT – Project Results

The Eco, Digital, Inclusive Tourism Training (EDIT) project has successfully come to an end on the 15th of May 2024.

The EDIT project aiming to address the skills gap between current training provision and industry needs in the areas of eco-innovation, sustainability and inclusivity, has been funded by the European Union and involved partner training and adult education organisations and trainers working in the tourism and hospitality sector in Italy, Spain/Basque Country and Greece.

The main outputs produced by the project, and available online, are:

  • Reports of the 3 Roundtables of experts on Sustainable, Inclusive and Digital Tourism available at the following link: https://edit-tourism.com/round-tables/
  • The publication of an E-book in 4 EU languages (English, Spanish, Greek, Italian) designed to enhance your understanding and implementation of sustainable, digital, and inclusive practices in the tourism sector. As the industry evolves, it is imperative for professionals, students, and enthusiasts to stay updated with the latest trends and methodologies that not only enhance the tourist experience but also contribute to the well-being of our environment and society. The ebook is available on EDIT’s website: https://edit-tourism.com/results/
  • The design of an online training module on Inclusive Tourism, whose acquisition is necessary to fill the gap identified in the training offered in the tourism industry in the project countries. The online course is available at the following link: https://com2lab.eu
