This comprehensive booklet shines a light on one of Europe’s most pressing educational and social challenges—supporting NEETs (young people Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and ELETs (Early Leavers from Education and Training). With contributions from partner institutions in Spain, Belgium, and Turkey, the publication brings together research, real-world case studies, and best practices to create a valuable guide for educators, policymakers, youth workers, and community leaders.

NEETs and ELETs face multidimensional barriers—social isolation, emotional distress, economic hardship, and academic disengagement. Left unaddressed, these issues contribute to long-term unemployment, poverty, and societal exclusion.
